gardening courses
Hi guys
im thinking of doing an evening class in gardening. I don't want to do garden design, which seems to be the only thing out there, Ive been gardening for 10 years now, but would really like to get into horticulture, the nitty gritty, soil, plants, ph levels, etc. im struggling to find one near me, and im thinking the R.H.S. would be a good certificate to have?!
im old and in my day you got leaflets thru the post telling you what courses were on where, how much etc. and it was 0 levels etc. now there seems to be a wide range, and I don't want to be doing something that isn't recognised in the industry.
I might add that one day I might be moving to America ,so im thinking R.H.S. would be the way to go?
anyone had any experience of courses?!!

This is the one I have just started, like you I wanted to do a course focusing on the Gardening side rather than design. They send you all the materials via post and you also get a personal tutor to call if you need to do so.
Once completed you can sit the RHS Level 2 Exam if you still want to.
