Wild Geum / Geum urbanum

I have a wild geum that has self seeded in my garden.

There are about 6-10 plants along the edge of the border in the shade of a big tree but some this year there are some in the lawn as well.

As I can't get much to grow under this tree as I was happy for them to grow there but I have read on here that they can be a bit of a thug.

Will they be much of a problem?

They do tend to seed themselves all over the place and they do crowd out other more desirable plants.

in the worse case, yu can always dig them up and use the roots for spicing. They are delicious.
