Suggestions Please

Hi all

I need some suggestions on what to put in my wall at the front of my house....

image

...it currently has loads of Love in the Mist seed pods, poppies and cornflowers but it looks so scraggy and unloved.

Please can I have some suggestions as what to put in there as I will be clearing it out this week.

My first thought was to just get a load of bedding plants but I don't want to spend a lot and so perhaps perennials is the way to go and will be more cost-effective?

But I don't have a clue!

I think that looks really pretty image

I wouldn't be pulling them out until they're totally over - I don't think it looks unloved at all.
