Virginia Creeper

I have a Virginia creeper, quite a few years old, growing really well on a south facing trellis.  It has never "coloured up" in all the years it's been there.  The leaves go a sickly, muddy pink before dropping.  Do I have a "rogue" plant?  I am tempted to wait till autumn and buy a new plant when I see one that is already coloured.

Which direction is the trellis/wall facing Rosemary Dinning? I know that the more sun they receive the better the colouration of the leaves in autumn before they fall. So a south-facing position would be best!

Can you post a photo of the leaves of your plant so that we can make sure that it is actually a Virginia creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia)?
