Hanging a pot

would a wide jubilee clip be good around a square shaped post which supports upstairs balcony? I thought I could then hang a pot at eye level - there are nice pots  with a kinda belt but this is for round drainpipe affairs. not sure what kind of pot would secure under the clip though. AND one side of post is missing , as in , it has three sides only.

Hmm, think I'd try hanging one on a chain from the balcony

Hmmm I'll check that out, but I think there'd be nothing for it than to do it UNDER their floorboard- that might be cheeky!
