Yellow sunflower try

I found a low lying sunflower type plant in our local beach garden. The leaf tells me it definitely isn't a sunfloweR. Any ideas .

It looks like Gazania, loves the sun and flowers close up in the evening
chrissy thanks. Think I will look for them. The display was in borough gardens by the beach.
They come in different coloures , deep Orange is one.
