Sweet peas slow to flower

  • Old thread but wonder if anyone can help. I planted mine late (July) in pots, got one or two flowers but good growth. Now it's January and they are still looking green. Is it worth keeping them in for this year or not?

Are they outside? Most places in UK , they will die from the weather in the next month or so. If they are in a greenhouse, you may get away with it.

I’d sow some more at the 1st week in March.  July is the wrong time. You could have sown them in October and overwintered.

I'd think it's worth keeping them @Nicolayeeles, as they are green now they may just continue you'll get some early flowers. As pointed out though it's worth sowing some more to be on safe side.
