Lidl never puts names on roses as far as I know, but they usually write if they are climers, large flowered hybrids or small flowered hybrids. At least they do so in France. I usually got surprisingly good roses from them, including a lovely yellow climber. Since you cannot "dwarf" a tall rose by pruning without losing the flowers, I'd go with the obelisk solution (or even an arch... or an arbour, with a bench inside), if it turns out to be a tall one. But make it robust, because climbing roses become heavy in time, and the usual wimpish obelisk or arch you buy cheap in shops (like lidl) will collaps under the weight.
i have over 40 roses,i love them, and the sweet smell i get sitting in the garden is magical,i spray them every 3 weeks if they get the dreaded black and green fly,but they are all flowering very well,i will try and show some pics.
ohhh caroline they are beautiful, mind aren't that bush, just tall, think they must be 'climbers' ... have to start thinking about this obelisk thing lol
