Markings on hosta leaves

I've recently moved the position of my Hosta undulata nearer to the outside tap and drain where it gets a bit more sun and it began to look much happier - however the other day I noticed these strange pinkish markings on some of the leaves.

I suspect these to be the result of activity by Pictor 'domesticus' image  any suggestions re action to take please?

I thought hostas preferred shade, don't know if that would the reason tho for the markings.  Looks like someone has spilled some raspberry juice on them!!

I've never seen pink markings, but other than that they look lovely . I'd not worry.

Typhoo, many of the variegated forms need sun to keep the variegation distinct , in too much shade they tend to become more green.

My garden is on a south facing slope with virtually no shade

Hostas aren't the only things in this household to get splattered with paint - doesn't seem a lot that I can do about it image
