Can anyone tell me what this is?

    A clematis , but which one I I'm not sure. Someone will come on soon and be more helpful.

    One of the nightshades, I always forget which is which.  The one known as Woody Nightshade I think

    Not a clematis , I have it but it is a weed and I can't remember the name , poisonous too , related to the potato . ?Solanium or something ?

    Hmmm... Initially I did think it was nightshade as I had it on here for ID but yours is in flower  whereas mine is only getting taller .

  • Ahh i have no idea how big this gets as ive not long moved here, finding things popping up here and there.

    Go out and squeeze it and see if you get a very pungent, musty sort of smell. I think that's Solanum ducamara, Bittersweet, woody nightshade.

    Note the resemblence of the flowers to spuds, same family.

    A very faint musty smell xx
