My Jasmine is growing very bushy but has not flowered, and I was wondering if there us anything I can do?

I have never fed it. I have trimmed and tried to prune it but I am a novice could I be doing it wrong
Which jasmine is it?
In the sticks near Peterborough
my jasmin has lots of flowers but I don't have it in direct sunlight in fact im always cutting it down cause dog keeps eating the leaves... give it a good cut and I believe seaweed feed helps all plants, shrub and trees
