I have had a horrendous year for aphids, especially Blackfly. My Beans were smothered but I held back hoping for Ladybirds...( They have been really late this year). Lo and behold, the beans are smothered with Ladybird larvae and there are very few Blackfly left. I was tempted with the soapy water, but that would kill off the good guys too. Mother nature usually sorts it out.

My dahlias are all of a sudden covered with black fly, I use a garlic spray and try to rub them off, it seemed to work last year for me
How do i stop blackfly returning to my very large Acer tree it covered it in August and restricted leaf growth
