How much do you put in the bath water? I have some purchased lavender oil. I don't know the strength. Would't the home made strength vary with the aroma of the flowers?
Lavender oil is about the only essential oil that you can't overdo. 5 or 6 drops would be about right for a warm bath. It can help sleep if you spritz it lightly on your pillow at night. Great for headaches too.

It says 5 - 6 drops in a bath. It doesn't have to be precise. Start with a small amount, if you can't smell it put a few more in.
