What is wrong with my Jumbo blackberries?

Hello. I have a very vigorous cultivated blackberry, which gives me lots of fruit each year. For the past two years, some of the fruit has a white section on it, and I would like to know what causes it, what it is, and whether there is a cure for it. Can any one help me, please?

    It's known as 'white drupelet disorder'.  The large berried variety 'Apache' comes up a lot on google searches for this.
