I had oyster scale on my acer last summer Got some great advice from berghill I cleaned it with soapy water and meth spirits It came back lovely this summer and then went downhill again I have also noticed symptoms on my pussy willow Is it contagious? Should I get rid of these lovely plants Would repotting in new soil help? Any advice much appreciated Regards Nadger

Please forgive my ignorance edd, I did not know oyster scale, horse chestnut scale, and mussel scale were one and the same
I'm only a novice????
