The book "TINE" How to Garden Without Digging. Explains a revolutionary method of cultivating soil, available from soilisalive.com Has anyone tried Green Manure and Direct sowing / planting successfully?

No more digging or double digging there is a beautifully illustrated book called "TINE" How to Garden Without Digging, available at soilisalive.com

That is sneaky-and no-one else here is trying to flog something

  • Appologies again soton geoff, I'm sorry you think so.

Do you think sneaky because you don't accept the method is revolutionary or because I wrote a book about it and you didn't.

I am not going to get into an argument about this -it is not revolutionary as has been pointed out

And if it is such a great book and idea -why are you on here trying to flog it by stealth?

If you had been open and above board in the first place people would have more respect for your views-as it stands you just come over as being a bit silly and are now making childish responses.

  • You could die wishing that the 4m 34sec would end soon. The U.S.Army wasted its time inventing waterboarding.

Well I have watched the short video (Thank goodness) and it hasn't inspired me one bit to be honest. It was dull, and didn't really show me anything 'revolutionary', which, as a newbie, thought I might be able to learn something. I fear the book would have me snoozing by chapter 2. image

And I think what Geoff means by sneaky is the fact you don't say it is your book in either of those quotes. You say it as if you are just recommending it. Therefore, sneaky. imageimage

  • I didn't find Andrew sneaky and ya'll are all a bit hard on him. Yes he is promoting his book, no he didn't say it was his book, but he does identify himself as his post. I commend you for writing the book and I have read Ruth Stout, M. Fukuoka back in 1979, Wes Jackson and still have a hard time completely not digging although I definitely do not rototill.

    Cheers,
