Can you see the pink flower middle right? All from the same poppy plant
This plant has been on for 6 years, never seen this before. Any ideas?

Exactly the same thing happened to my bunch that started as medium stalk salmon pink and suddenly there were also strong tall stalk baby pink and smaller thin stalk lady bird red
The whole process took a few years and I can only assume some kind of reversion between the parents of my original salmon pink
that was such an interesting link, thank you. Actually Charlie you have reminded me of something I saw many many years ago which was exactly that with a little boy. Long before the days if genetic testing so caused a bit of a stir!
there is a clump of salmon pink poppies about 20 ft away and perhaps it seeded. Weird tho
