umbrella plant
in Plants
A few years ago I took a cutting from an umbrella plant. It has grown really well, however I have noticed that when it starts to grow new leaves now they quickly shrivel up and die. the plant is otherwise healthy, any ideas? Could it be that the pot is too small?

it is on a sunny window sill, as it always has been, and fed weekly with baby bio plant food.
I'm not sure what else to say, nothing has changed in how it is cared for.
Can you give us a photo or two please? We can't tell if the pot is the wrong size unless we know how big the plant is.
Has it ever been repotted with fresh compost?
It might have had too much fertilizer - I wouldn't feed it every week - do you mean you've fed it every week through the whole year?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Anyone know if these umbrella plants can be pruned? Ours is very tall, desperately needs repotting, but I don't want to kill it, just get it to a more manageable size! Thx.
