Cherry tree
Hi folks.
I have a cherry tree which has four branches an abundance of leaves growing on each one, I've had the tree 2 years now, so far a few cherry's only grow at the base of 2 branches and no further up, anyone know how to fix it so it fruits all the way up each branch

Planted out, flowered well but again at base of branches, some fruit but a lot stayed small and fell off I don't know the type Im afraid.
Thank you
I found out the tree is called a Sylvia and its a patio plant
maybe it shouldn't of been put out and put in a pot ?
you don't get many cherries for a few years I know mine seem too get more after the third year ,but do you have any other fruit trees as that always helps ... if not may be wise too buy another this normally helps
Sylvia is partially self-fertile and will produce fruit without a pollination partner, but having another cherry tree nearby which flowers at roughly the same time (mid-season) should improve pollination.
