Hi can anyone tell me how many allotment plots I can rent .

Depends on your local council. Do you need more than one?
More information is needed. How many plots do you want and for what reason do you want more?
Initially I put my name down on allotment sites locally, with lists still open, and since obtaining my current site have been offered viewings of plots on other sites but turned them down as I' happy with the size of the plot I have.
So I cannot use for a small holding i.e 3/4 plots
We are permitted to sell our produce and the council actively encourage it as part of Green capital 2015, but the waiting lists are huge, so unless you have a site with lots of available plots and no one on the list, you won't have much luck.
each council has different rules, you need to check with them
