White Mould Taking Over

It may be because I am a "new gardner" but it seems that white mould is taking over the garden. Is anyone else struggling with this? Mine started with a honey suckle from home base - which once bought got covered in the stuff... all the surrounding plants around it are fine however. But this morning I went to dead head my violas and have discovered the white mould is now growing all over their stems! It must be the weather! Is anyone else finding this year a little tough for plants?

    Try watering regularly and a real soak each time generally takes care of it. In this dry weather I forgot about a honeysuckle and powdery mildew developed, oops!
