They live and fly about and sit on my arm a lot
The mother Shield Bug 'broods' her eggs like a chicken does.
They live on plant sap, but in this country they don't do any noticeable damage to our plants.
They're beautiful and fascinating little creatures and there are many varieties. Enjoy

That's good, thanks. Was a bit spooked, sat enjoying the garden and this shield bug sat next to me,.... Haha I had to move but need to stop being a wimp !
I'm friends with any insect except horseflies and mozzies
