30cm plant plugs - GW offer

I recieved my GW Offer 30cm Geranium plant plugs today.

Am I able to put them straight in the ground now or should I be putting them in a pot ? Bearing in mind holidays and I'm wondering whether they will be better off in ground in case I can't get anyone to water pots for me for two weeks.  I go away in a months time.

What do you all do with them ? Thank you as always.

Mine arrived yesterday. I have potted them on into a larger pot because they are still quite small. My garden is now too dry to put things in.  I'll wait until autumn to put them in the ground.

I suppose you could put them in the shade in a tray which has a wet towel in the bottom. I've done that before and it worked. Would someone look after them in their home for you?

At 12inches tall I would think they could go straight out.

They don't sound tiny, I would plant them in the ground and water really well when planting and then water regularly through the rest of summer

Mine arrived last week - potted into 9cm pots (mine were jumbo plugs...not sure what the 30cm refers to).  I'll let them grow on til autumn and plant out then.  The damp towel idea sounds a great oneimage

Final height I would think. I'd pot on too.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
