damaged rhubarb leaves
in Fruit & veg
Something is eating my rhubarb leaves. The young leaves are stripped to the veins and spine, but older leaves have big holes in them. Would this be slug damage? Or what else eats them? I'm not bothered about it as I am getting plenty of stems for my use, but I'm curious. Thanks, Mags

They do have their preferences. I have Timperly Early [some holes but not severe], Raspberry Red and Glaskeens [reduced to same state as staffsmags]. Funny thing is I think Glaskeens has the worst flavour.
Thanks a lot for the info! Fortunately the leaf gobblers don't seem to like the stems! Mags
