Have lost several plants grown in those pouches that look like big tea bags. I think they restrict root growth in some cases. Has anyone else had this trouble or have I just been unlucky?
Have lost several plants with these "bags". Now if I buy something and find it's been grown in a "bag" I immediately repot it. No trouble since so it must be something to do with the "bag".
some seem ok but lost lobelia ,diascia and the odd petunia . Geraniums ok but slow to develop. Perhaps it is because they can survive on less water. will remove bags but will try to avoid buying them in the future. B&Q seems to be main culprit. independents seem to use traditional method
I have also lost loads of plants in the past, now I just remove the 'teabag' and give the plants a good drink before planting them out......so far, so good!
Planted two baskets up. I kept the 'teabags' on in one and took the off in the other. The basket without them is so much healthier and fuller than the one without. B&Q do seem to be the main culprits.
