Geranium Rozanne advice please.
I've just bought Rozanne from the garden centre. There were only 2 so I chose the healthiest one but it looks very straggly to me and not quite what I was expecting.

Would you plant it in the flower bed and let it get on with it or cut it back. If cut it back, should I do it before planting and how much should I cut it back.
Thank you, Teresa.

You can cut these back very hard and they'll come back. For a pot grown one which is about to be planted I'd leave the more compact bits of foliage on the plant and just deal with the stragglers though, to help it establish. Don't think it particularly matters whether you do this before or after you plant it.
Yes, cut of the straggly bits and pop them in a vase Plant the remainder and stand well back - it'll soon be twice its size

Thank you, I knew I could count on you lot for help
I'll give her a trim and plonk her in a bucket of water while I prepare a hole for her. I've been reading previous posts about Rozanne on here so I'm aware that she needs plenty of space.
I wish mine would hurry up and start covering some ground!
Oh blimey Verdun
Are you feeding it with something very fattening (doughnuts for example). I could do without mine getting that big!! Apart from the blue flowers, I was attracted by the fact that it doesn't seed all over the place as I was overrun by some kind of geranium in a previous garden.
WillDB, how long have you had yours?
I have purchased 2 Rozanne plants, one of the two is so small and the other a decent size.Would potting up the smaller one be a good idea in order to allow it to grow and develop a good root system or would you folk think I should simply plant it in the border I have prepared.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
