Thank you! I think part of the problem is there are so many things under there that we don't have a clue what will come up, if left it is like a jungle (we've been streaming it). But I like the idea of putting lavender at the front and then the buddleia alternifolia on top, in winter when the stuff at the back has died back, you can see straight into the garden. In my ideal world, the whole thing would be levelled, we'd make a small vegetable patch, a bit of decking and a sandpit for the kids...but I think that would cost us thousands!
