Same here holly hock. Now I use the 'What to do links' and read other threads as necessary. So many experiences, recomme ndations and discussions - very helpful. And, ofcourse, good old gardening books.
Take your point Amy Kelly, but it is a gardening magazine.
Have to laugh at some 'ad choices' I've been getting on here. Because I check on all types of plants et cetera a catalogue ad linked me to clothes described as 'floral', 'roses', 'blue', and so on which , I read, best suits my browsing habits!
I don't tend to mind the adverts inside because as said above it pays for the mag but I am tempted to start opening the magazine over the recycling bin, there was about 6-7 leaflets inside this time, now that's a waste of paper imo. all of them went straight in the recycling.
I am not interested in receiving spam from a charity so I binned the diabetes letter. I don't want a £700 patio set or a £500 barbecue! so robert dyas brochure in the same place too!

Mine arrives on my iPad, so I don't worry about the wasted trees.
