Where do you buy your early-flowering bulbs from?

ecokidecokid Posts: 138

I know it's early but I'm looking for some recommendations for good sources for bulbs to buy in late summer/early autumn.

Cheers.

J.Parker never had a problem with them. They do special offers.

I used to buy online form big Dutch suppliers but now find everything I need in my local supermarket and garden centre as their ranges have improved - lots of alliums and nectarospordums and leucojomum and crocuses and species tulips and short daffs because hybrid tulips never survive winter here and tall daffs get their stems snapped in strong winds.

I've used The Bulb Company also known as GeeTee bulbs. Good value and good service. I was delighted with them and will be ordering alliums later this year  image

I agree with Logan. I use J. Parker who will send you a seasonal catalogue a couple of times a year. I just took delivery of some begonia bulbs and lillies which were in their sale at very good prices and they arrived very promptly and were in excellent condition. I also ordered some small blueberry plants from them about 4/5 years ago and they now give me an excellent crop each year. You can order on line and on the phone.
