Shade pollinators

Hi all,

Does anyone have any recommendations for perennial bee/butterfly attractors that would grow well in shade?

    Ajuga, lamium. Both good for ground cover and the bees like the flowers.

    Wild strawberry.  Geranium phaeum.  Take a look at plantsforshade.co.uk for ideas.

    Geranium phaeum has been my number 1 bumble bee plant this spring - whether in the shade or not. Mine is G. phaeum 'Samobor' which has handsome marked leaves. It flowered from April to mid June and was rarely without bees in attendance.  Now my white foxgloves are taking over bumble bee duty in the same spot.

    Foxgloves. Pulmonaria most definitely.
