Can anyone tell me how to propagate a glaucous rose?

Ty dove. The person who gave me the plant many years ago gave me the impression that she had dug it up from close by parent. I wondered if it could have self-seeded or low branches may have rooted themselves

It could have been self-sown - it's a species so it will come true from seed - but cuttings will be quicker. image

It could also have grown from a layered shoot or even from a new shoot from the roots.  If you cut them hard back they usually throw up new shoots from the base.

Hard wood cuttings are quickest, but as its a species, the seeds are likely to come true. Mine came from seed, as did the one I gave Dove.

Will try both. Berries look lovely too - and the leaves!!
