  • There are some dark berries but the don't look like figs. What are the leaves used for ? Sorry I'm a beginner.

    Purple flower is chives.

Bottom one is a single pink rose,or maybe it is the rootstock that is flowering (dog rose)

I don't think the top one is a fig,the leaves are not hairy enough.

The first picture looks like a shrub called Fatsia Japonica. It has tiny white flowers in clusters in the winter time which ripen into currant sized shiny black berries.

The second picture is possibly a herb...chives. Although it could be a decorative allium poss Ostroskianum... all part of the same family.

The last is a rose, but another poster may be able to identify the variety for you.

Yes i agree the first one is Fatsia Japonica. It grows quite tall and wide.

Could do with a better photo of the 'chives' one.

I don't think it's a chive either. I agree with Bilje about it being an Ostroskianum which is also called "Allium oreophilum".

I think the rose may well have come from a suckering rootstock.

I believe no.2 is an Armeria - a sea pink.
