Looks as though we've both got this figwort. Wonder which one is it? Your idea of putting it in a wilderness area sounds a good idea especially as it's quite big and may like damp conditions and be attractive to insects. I have one such area at the bottom of the garden which is bordered by a small stream. So I'll give it a go. It's growing in a "nursery" bed in the veg plot at the moment
I had a packet of these that I planted late spring so no flowers this year. I have lots of what appears to be different dianthus. A couple of hardy geraniums an lots of what look like mulleins
Hope you get some interesting flowers next year. So far apart from the ones I've mentioned above, the ones that have flowered this year include oriental poppies, daisies and an orange evening primrose. I have lots that haven't flowered yet so I'm looking forward to seeing what they are next year
