I'm still thinking sycamore for the middle one. I doubt they will have gone to much expense, and an ornamental acer that size would be expensive. It looks like the seedlings I spend all year trying to get rid of. Any trees that close to the pavement will have to be cut back to stop them poking the eyes out of pedestrians.
Thank you all. Redrow tell me that they only plant ornamental trees that are in close proximity to their buildings/pavements. I absolutely take your point about cutting it back to keep pedestrians happy
Are the undersides of the maple leaves white? If they are it is probably a Silver maple Acer dasycarpum. it is the most commonly planted American maple in Britain as it grows well here. They grow quite big and are faster growing than Sycamores.

The top one is a cotoneaster, C. 'Cornubia' maybe
the second is an acer but not sycamore you'll be pleased to know

In the close up the leaves look too angular and not coarse enough for sycamore.
Agree, all too close to the pavement.

The acer could be Acer campestre - the field maple. All are really planted too close together. I'm not sure about the other two shrubs
Field maple leaves are more rounded than that

No they are not always. Try googling Acer campestre and the leaves shown for the tree are amazingly similar to Len's tree
I was comparing it with my field maples which don't look like the tree in the photo
