Czar Plum Tree

Hiya, can anyone hep me please. I've got a Czar Plum Tree aged about 6 years. It has produced lots of fruit for 4 years but last year I wasn't around to harvest the plums when they were ready (end July-early August) conseqently they all went mouldy on the tree. This year it hasn't produced 1 flower, absolutely nothing! There are plenty of leaves. Can anyone tell me what I can do to get my plum tree back on track, the fruits are really delicious & I'm disappointed to say the least. Thank you for any help.

Thanks Pansyface, I haven't heard of biennial bearing before. I'll be on the ball next year, that's for sure.
A Plum Czar tree which was planted 6 months ago has now developed yellow leaves, anyone know why please?
