great joy, although it's raining this morning I've just picked my first strawberries and sweet peas. Just wondered what other forum members are picking and what you think heralds summer ?

I will be picking figs, strawberries, tayberries, blueberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, whitecurrants, rhubarb, wild strawberries, wild raspberries and wine grapes from my vine. Also tomatoes, cucumber and chillis.
What summer?
