weed annoyance

i have a weed growing everywhere which is red in colour and has little yellow flowers on it , anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it , sorry no pictures

Does each leaf have 3 lobes? If so I suspect it is creeping woodsorrel (Oxalis corniculata) and it's tricky to get rid of. You need to use a hand fork to try and get the roots out as weedkiller isn't very effective. At the very least pull them up before the flowers set seeds or they will shoot everywhere because the seed pods are spring-loaded!

If it's like a small clover leaf it's an annual weed - oxalis corniculata. It's pretty invasive and will freely seed. If you don't want to use weedkiller, the best thing is to keep hoeing it and then mulch.
