any suggestions as to what to grow between rows of peas

Something that grows fast like radishes, peas will grow at an alarming rate at this time of year and anything too slow will soon be overshadowed.
I used to grow radishes between rows, but this year I am experimenting with peas in trough planters so there is nothing between the rows, but I have more space in my raised bed for radishes and spinach!
