Paeonia Lactiflora Doreen

I put in a paeonie 1 month ago with 2 flower balls that opened nicely and a 3rd came to. there now on the way out and im going to dead head them today above the growing shoot down the stem. i can see them.

Will it flower again this year??????

Im used to Dahlias so many many flowers.

    Hmmm. These are not good words, but thanks anyway.

    I like flowers and lots of them......Ill stick to Dahlias and Roses.....

    I go for long flowering varieties if possible too, but when something's a good as a peony, it's worth it. (I like the foliage anyway). Rather nice to have the seasonal aspect to the garden too. You could always plant something behind the peony that will get going a bit later, and 'lean' on the peony for support.
