Unknown Flower

Hi

can anyone please tell me what this flower is. It opened yesterday and although I put a lot of perennials in, I dont recognise this one. It is similar to a Hellebore, but stamens and leaves are different. It is also a bit pestemon like. It is about 9" tall at the moment and 6" across. There are three leaves on each stem. Thank you

Neil

Could it be a Campanula? They are tall and come in different colours?

to me it looks like something in the windflower (anemone) direction, or Ranunculaceae in any case...

Trillium flowers come off the top of three leaves, not on a separate stem. Also the leaves do not have that notch. I'm thinking towards a wood anemone of some sort.

Agreeing with Fidget ( what are you doing here before your big day?)

it looks like an anemone, not a trillium
