Flies

Can anyone give me some advice about stopping flies killing my peppers, the plants grow well fruit develope and then they get coverd in flies (very small)which cover the plants and kill them off. Have tried spraying with soapy water and growing marigolds they help to stop them attacking my tomatoes  but not my peppers or chilles can anyone help

    Where are the plants at present?-

    Am guessing theses are aphids of some sort? and they are sucking the sap?

    I would get a spray specifically for edible crops to eradicate-soapy water is not always the best cure .

    Thanks I have had this problem for the last couple of years and was going to give up i thought i would ask the question otherwise i would have given up on them. Again thank you
