Can anyone identify this plant?

Pash321Pash321 Posts: 12

hi,

I've seen this plant recently and can't find out what it is (sorry picture is not great, im photographing someone elses garden)

Im looking for a name of the pink flowers on long stems, it looks like they have distinctive large leaves at the bottom of the stems.

Thanks for any help.

    It's common name is Bistort.

I'm sure it's a persicaria. That one seems quite likely
