Sick bay tree

Lily PillyLily Pilly Posts: 3,845

Has anyone any suggestions re my very sick bay tree. I have 2 about 41/2 ft in pit's at front door. Whilst on holiday there seems to have been very unseasonable cold winds and the easterly seems to have scorched my tree.  Only one affected.

Should I remove all the leaves or not? Had a feed about a month ago.

would be so sad to lose it

I'm pretty sure it'll recover ok.  Don't give it any more food for the time being, just wait for it to drop any dead leaves and grow some more.  I wouldn't remove them as they'll give a bit of protection to the new buds while they're forming just in case we get another icy blast image

It was watered well before we left but the dreadful stormy day seems to have knocked it sideways, literally!  I will keep it sheltered till it heats up

surely the temps will rise soon?image

    Advice appreciated thanks
