Our knautia looked lovely one year sprawling over and through an anthemis 'Sauce Hollandaise' and the bees and butterflies went mad. Sadly the anthemis flowered itself to death (they don't always come back well after one of our cold winters) but the knautia is still going strong.
My Knautia macedonica are melton pastels. In shade they are 5 ft high. That plant may be a lot bigger next year. Mine alsohave a habit of falling over and need support.
I have some seed for twelve inch salvia it's a deep blue flower and is in flower first year from seed . It will be out all through summer.p m your address if so.

That looks beautiful WillDB - kinda hoping mine might resemble that in another year or two - fingers crossed
