I would love to run some of the videos - tried with Monty Don's on Kiwi plants. My computer won't play the sound element; is there any written transcript of videos?

sometimes videos are mute until you click the little microphone icon, when you play the video, hover your mouse/cursor ove the bottom of the video screen and you will see a microphone icon, if it has a x over it, click on it and it will play the sound. If the icon x is already unclicked, them maybe your computer sound is either turned down or perhaps if you have speakers attached are they turned on at the speakers?
Thank you Sanjy for your reply. I have tried 2 different headsets, one having an on/off switch, and tried the volume control on the computer. So far no help. I am just wondering whether I pushed home the headphone jack properly so will try that on the next video I fine .... Occasionally videos will play sound without the head set, so perhaps there may be a loose connection? will try again.
i know with our main computer the headphone jacks on the front of the tower are not connected (they aren't always to the internal gubbings) so i have to connect mine to the ones on the rear of the tower, if not type in your problem & type of computer and google normally has instructions, it sounds as if it is a microphone/connection problem as you get sound without the microphone plugged in which is what happened to me then discovered front jacks weren't connected inside.
