problem with plum tree

Hi Guys"

I have a Victoria plum tree bought 3 years ago for my birthday. its never given me more than about 10 plums; and this year looks to be about the same. I live in the midlands, its in a sunny position. last year I wrapped it up in fleece on frosty nights, this year I didn't. I had only a couple of branches with blossom on. plenty of bees.

is there anything I can do? should I give up?! is it in the wrong position, could I move it?(I bet not)such a shame. what am I doing wrong?!! my sister's across the road positively drips with plums....

You shouldn't prune until it flowers property it will take about 5 years,we have a Victoria and it didn't flower until it was 5 years.I'm in the west Midlands, you have it in the right place.
