    Christine, those lupins are beautiful, looking so healthy, and lovely fat spikes of flowers.   Tutti Frutti, I shall def. try some.   Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Thank you for all your kind comments. Don't know if it makes any difference but the tutti fruitti seed was from the Alan Titchmarsh collection.

  • Having just de-snailed my Lupins, I can agree whole heartedly with Verdun. Went around the bases of them and up the foliage that leans against the boundary fence and filled a 9 cm plant pot from the two mature plants. The Thrushes ate well tonight.
