Whats wrong with my magnolia

Hi, can anyone help with what is has gone wrong with my magnolia lilliflorum. It is a well established plant and has been healthy, we had a very heavy frost in April.  Hopefully you can see the picture that the edges appear brown, leaves are going crinkly and the outside of the leaves are yellowing, can anyone help?

Some of mine look like that after catching a late frost but they do recover.  I don't like the look of the black spots though so the frost damage may have let in a disease like a fungus.  I would give it a spray with a general fungicide such as the ones used for roses and keep your fingers crossed. image

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
