miss selling , what next
After years of being happy with the plants received from a particular company some bought are defiantly not as described .I questioned them in an email , asking them if I ordered another pack would it be the plants described as advertised .they have replied with an email telling me " unfortunately they would be the same as you already have " '............
I see this as miss selling.
What do I do next , report , and who too?

Suggest you return the plants to them and demand your money back, express your dissatisfaction strongly but politely and tell them you will buy the correct plants elsewhere and take your custom elsewhere in the future. If they are a reputable company they will refund and apologise and most likely try and win your custom back with a freebie. Don`t know of any ombudsman for mail order plants but I suppose you could try your local trading standards office for advice.
What were they described as granma and what did you get?
In the sticks near Peterborough
Can you tell us what they are Gran, some plugs are small but they can be brought on with TLC I have never found the company to be a problem, they answer your emails if you are nice and polite to them... I have started my email with....I have used your company for many years but..... They have always been good to me.
It was those poppies Lyn, I saw the red ones should be fringed petals and they are not .So I sent a polite email they as good as said I'd got it wrong. They were the red ,described as fringed
can you take a pic , grow them on , take another then send pics to the firm
They meant the poppies petals were wavey at the edge still lovely - just not fringed as I call fringed !
Just a question of how they described the petals .
But thank you everyone

Last year I bought a 10kg bag of 'wild' Daff bulbs to plant in my wild garden. When the emerged this year they turned out to be cultivated Narcissus. I was not best pleased but will not be digging them up again!
I bought three Pattys Plum poppies and planted them out. Just started flowering and they are bright orange, definately NOT patty's plum! Have dug them out as they clash in the border and donate to a friend.
I cant remember which catalogue I bought them from as I threw the paperwork away once they were planted and growing well.
V Annoying!
