Tibouchina? (though the leaves look slightly different from the one that I had, I must admit). But need the flower full-face for ident.
Thanks for the replies I'very been doing a bit of googling tonight could it be a square stem mimulus other name monkey flower. I will try and get a better picture tomorrow night and post it
